Mine Site
Arumpo Bentonite mine is located approximately 95 Kms north east of Mildura. The site is substantial by world standards and is the largest deposit in Australia with indicated reserves exceeding 70 million tonnes.

The Arumpo deposit is unique because of its high purity. The shallow depth of the resource allows easy mining with minimal disturbance to the environment.

Raw material is sundried on this site in specially constructed beds. Material is accumulated in stockpiles and then transported to Arumpo's all-weather processing site close in Mildura.
